📈 AI STOCK TRACKER
AI and tech stocks continued to slide to the downside after an uneventful day in the markets. AMD, which has been underperforming NVIDIA by quite some margin, has been cited as an under-valued growth stock by Citi analysts.

🚀 OpenAI launches first agentic feature
🚨 Our Report — OpenAI has launched “Tasks” (currently in beta, due to roll-out globally to ChatGPT Plus, Team, and Pro users, on all platforms, over the next few days) which can complete tasks on behalf of the user, marking it’s first foray into agentic capabilities.
🔓 Key Points:
From setting reminders to buy concert tickets to giving affirmations, every day, at 7 am, ‘Tasks’ enables users to ask ChatGPT "to do things at a future time," and can be accessed from the ChatGPT dropdown menu.
It can create and suggest tasks, users will receive task-related messages as push notifications, and according to early feedback, it’s like a combination of Google Alerts, a personal calendar, and ChatGPT's existing capabilities.
OpenAI has previously hinted that ‘Agentic AI’ will be a big part of 2025, with CPO Kevin Weil—during a Reddit AMA—confirming that ChatGPT messaging users first "is going to be a big theme” this year.
🔐 Relevance — Although ‘Tasks’ might seem a bit low-key—after all sending reminders isn’t exactly new—this is a major step for OpenAI, on the road to achieving Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), and confirms that it’s reached ‘Level 3’ in its ‘5 levels of AI’ progress framework (level 3 is developing "agents and systems that can take actions"), although they still appear to be a way off achieving level 5 which is building AI that can “do the work of an organization," or superintelligence.

TOGETHER WITH INNOVATING WITH AI
The AI consulting market is about to grow by a factor of 8X – from $6.9B to $54.7B in 2032.
But how does an AI enthusiast become an AI consultant?
How well you answer that question makes the difference between just “having AI ideas” and being handsomely compensated for your contribution to an organization’s AI transformation.
Thankfully, you don’t have to go it alone – our friends at Innovating with AI have welcomed 300 new students into The AI Consultancy Project, their new program that trains you to build a business as an AI consultant.
Some of the highlights current students are excited about:
The tools and frameworks to find clients and deliver top-notch services
A 6-month plan to build a 6-figure AI consulting business
Students getting their first AI client in as little as 3 days
And as a reader of The AI Report, you get early access to the next enrollment cycle.

🏞️ Bidens next (final?) AI move
🚨 Our Report — President Joe Biden, in his last week in office, has signed an Executive Order (EO) to make sure data centers and clean power facilities can be built quickly, and at scale, across the US, so that developments in AI can be advanced and the US maintains its AI lead.
🔓 Key Points:
The EO directs the Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of Energy (DoE) to identify and lease at least 3 federal sites to private companies wanting to build big AI data centers and clean power facilities.
The DoD and DoE have also been told to prioritize and speed up the AI infrastructure permitting process and help facilitate the interconnection of the data centers to the eclectic grid.
The private companies building on these sites will be required “to pay all costs of building and operating AI infrastructure so that this development does not raise electricity prices for consumers.”
🔐 Relevance — This comes after the Biden Administration also issued a 168-page framework—called The Interim Final Rule on AI Diffusion—this week, which introduced new restrictions for the export of US-made, advanced, AI chips, and the question is: Will the Trump administration keep or revoke the new AI framework and EO?

🔄 OpenAI makes strategic edit to blueprint
OpenAI has revised its recently published 15-page “economic blueprint” (which outlines its vision for US AI development), removing the line that AI models “should aim to be politically unbiased by default.”
When asked, OpenAI said that this revision was made to “streamline” the document, because other OpenAI documentation—such as its ‘Model Spec’---already makes this point so it was, therefore, redundant.
It will be interesting to see how this evolves as many of Trump’s allies have accused AI chatbots, particularly ChatGPT, of censoring conservative viewpoints and being untruthful about politically sensitive subjects.
